Melbourne Steven King will reunite with premiership teammate Matthew Scarlett in the coaching box, while Jared Rivers and recently retired Rory Atkins will also be joining him.
Rivers was a former Demons player, spending 10 years and featuring in 150 games before making the switch to Geelong for three seasons.
Since his playing days, he has spent five years at Collingwood, three campaigns at VAFA powerhouse Collegians Football Club and most recently at St Kilda.
Rivers will join the club in an assistant coaching capacity.
"It's really exciting to welcome Jared back to the club in an assistant coaching capacity," Melbourne GM of AFL Football Performance Alan Richardson said.
"He has an incredibly strong understanding of the game and significant experience, having held coaching positions at the Pies, in the VAFA and with the Saints. We are excited by what Jared can add to our program."
Atkins, who recently hung up the boots after three separate stints at Adelaide, Gold Coast and Port Adelaide, spanning over 13 years, will be a development coach at Melbourne. He will work closely along with new Head of Development Taylor Whitford.
"We're looking forward to having Rory on board as part of our development team," Richardson said.

"We think he will have an immediate impact, having only recently retired from the game, and provide some unique insights for our younger players."
Scarlett joins the Demons as a specialist part-time coach, working alongside the club's tall prospects and assisting their craft development. It will be his first AFL role since 2021, when he departed the Cats.
King and Scarlett won premierships together at Geelong during their playing days.
"We're really excited to have someone of Scarlo's calibre with us, to work with our talls," Richardson said.
"Scarlo featured at the top level for 15 seasons, and for our players to be able to learn from him and have his assistance is pretty special."
The trio will join the likes of Troy Chaplin and Nathan Jones on the coaching panel, as well as specialist ruck coach Mark Jamar.
The Casey Demons (Melbourne's VFL team) also appointed Rhett McLennan as their new senior coach for the 2026 season.
McLennan has tallied 23 years of coaching experience, and spent the past six seasons at the Gippsland Power in the Coates Talent League.
He replaces Whitford.
"After a thorough process, we are really pleased to welcome Rhett as senior coach of the Casey Demons for the 2026 VFL season,” Richardson said.
"Rhett's coaching philosophy, character and experience in helping his players reach their full potential made him a standout candidate, and we had no hesitation in offering him the role.
"In addition to his VFL commitments, Rhett will also work across our AFL program, with focus on the development space. We're excited by what he can contribute here."
