Essendon champion Matthew Lloyd has revealed his top five after-the-siren goals.

Speaking on AFL.com.auLloyd explained that every kid growing up dreams of kicking a big goal after the final siren has sounded.

"Unfortunately for me, I had a shot against the Western Bulldogs on a big Friday night and I fluffed it," he said.

"These five shots were ones I'll never forget where blokes absolutely nailed it after the siren."

Lloyd counted down from 5-1…

2. Malcolm Blight vs. Carlton (Round 10, 1976)

Lloyd said: "I obviously wasn't born when this kick happened, but it's become so famous this one. The torpedo is a kick we don't see anymore, but the way Malcolm Blight executed that kick not many others could do it.

"I've never seen a torp go so far to be honest, some may argue it should be number one. Malcolm Blight, one of the greatest and most skilled players of all time, and this was a kick that just blew everyone's minds away with just how phenomenal it was."
