Essendon legend Matthew Lloyd has named the seven players he believes are the best set shots in the competition right now.

With goal kicking accuracy down in 2021, hovering around 46%, we have seen plenty of bad kicking and missed shots. But Lloyd, who kicked 926 goals himself, has said that these players stand out from the rest while speaking on Sportsday.

7. Oscar Allen (West Coast)

22-year-old Allen has kicked 20.7 this season alone and his impressive form been rewarded with a three-year contract extension taking him through to free agency.

"It was out of Oscar Allen or Jack Darling. I went with Oscar Allen." Lloyd said as he placed Allen on his list.
