Collingwood star Jordan De Goey can accept a one-game suspension for his rough conduct charge on Demons midfielder Clayton Oliver.

De Goey collided high with Oliver during the Queen's Birthday clash on Monday between the Magpies and Demons, with the Collingwood forward now facing a stint on the sidelines should he accept the ban with an early guilty plea.

The MRO has adjudged the incident as careless with medium impact and high contact, and was classified as a one-match suspension as a first offence.

De Goey is now set to miss the Magpies' Round 15 clash against Fremantle at Marvel Stadium after his side's bye this weekend.
