It has been reported that Richmond's Brandon Ellis is seriously contemplating a move to the bottom-placed Gold Coast Suns for 2020 and beyond.

“He’s going to the bottom feeder – he’s going from the top to the bottom. Come and see me at Round 13 next year when the Tigers are flying and he’s playing on a wing (at Gold Coast)," said Melbourne great, Gary Lyon this morning on SEN Breakfast.

Various reports have revealed Ellis will depart Richmond after the Grand Final on a huge deal worth $3 million.

Ellis will play in his second Grand Final when Richmond take on GWS Giants at the MCG on Saturday.

"I know it’s been in the public, but let’s put this in perspective.

“Here is a young man about to potentially play in his second premiership for the mighty Richmond Football Club, who is going to leave them and go to Gold Coast."

The 26 year-old will finish off his season this weekend with a consistent 2019 campaign with only missing two games. He averages 21.5 disposals in 2019.
