St Kilda's Ben Long has received a three-match ban from the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday night.

He was charged for a dangerous bump on Fremantle's Sean Darcy in Saturday's clash at Metricon Stadium.

The MRO graded the incident incident as careless conduct with high contact and severe impact and referred the matter directly to the Tribunal.

The Saints pled guilty to all elements of the charge.
