With the 2025 Mid-Season Draft just days away, the understanding of which prospects are likely to be recruited and the clubs that will be involved is growing stronger.

Currently, eight clubs will share 13 selections for the Mid-Season Draft, with Essendon able to make as many as four picks to bolster their injury-hit list ahead of the home stretch.

West Coast will carry Pick 1 into the count for the third time in four years, with a ripple effect to occur from that selection for the other seven sides.

Here's each club with at least one list spot open for Wednesday's draft and the prospect that could be at the top of their list.

Brayden Crossley (Southport)

The Bombers look destined to recruit a ruckman at the Mid-Season Draft, having lost their two most favoured talls in Sam Draper and Nick Bryan for the rest of the season.

It's likely Essendon will rely on one of their later selections to bring in a ruckman, with the Dons not short on options via the mid-year intake.

Coburg's Cooper Keigh and North Adelaide's Alex Van Wyk would both be solid options but are currently sidelined due to foot and ankle injuries respectively, placing Southport's Brayden Crossley as the leading ruckman on offer.

The former Gold Coast ruckman has been a dominant force for the Sharks in the VFL for several seasons and fell agonisingly short of an AFL contract with the Western Bulldogs over the pre-season.
