Gold Coast are reportedly keen to secure the services of young Lion Tom Berry, with the 22-year-old's future at the Gabba still undecided.

Since joining older brother Jarrod at the Den ahead of the 2019 season, Tom has turned out for Brisbane on 20 occasions.

Yet, according to reports from Callum Twomey of AFL Media, the Ballarat native could be coaxed away from Vulture Street with a shift to Carrara potentially on the cards.

Berry still has a contract on the table from the Lions, however, with the parchment uninked, the small-forward could be steered to the Suns in an effort to help stem their offensive bleeding.

With vaunted goalsneak Izak Rankine opting out of the Sunshine State, requesting a shift home to South Australia via a trade to the Crows, Stuart Dews' forward 50 requires another outlet.

Though Berry only has the three AFL majors to his name, the Victorian has proven able to record a mean of 1.95 tackles across the course of his fledgling career in maroon, blue and gold.

At present, the Suns are currently armed with picks 7, 25, 31, 34, 43, 52, 67, 70 and 79 in an effort to get a deal done.

Gold Coast's opening selection could well make its way to the Gabba, with Brisbane reportedly interest in the Suns' salary dump package involving midfielder Jack Bowes and the 7th pick of November's draft.

Berry's days as a Lion began after being plucked with the 36th selection of the 2018 National Draft.

The defender-cum-forward would be made to wait before earning his debut in Round 2 of the 2020 season.
