Young Richmond forward Ben Lennon has starred in the intra-club match this afternoon, booting four goals.

The Tigers were trialling a smaller forward line-up as they try to come up with a structure that suits their side.

Since the departure of Ty Vickery they now need to look passed the three-tall set up and Ben Lennon might be the answer.

The 2013 No.12 draft pick was the standout performer for the Tigers. Small forward Daniel Rioli was also impressive, he kicked two goals and set up several others.

Star midfielder Dustin Martin racked up plenty of touches and also pushed forward, kicked three goals. Third-year forward Dan Butler was also amongst it, booting three goals.

Tall forwards Jack Riewoldt and Ben Griffiths both featured in the match, but Richmond’s main two ruckman Shaun Hampson and Toby Nankervis were rested.

Richmond play their first JLT Community Series match against Adelaide and Etihad Stadium on February 24.
