Hawthorn have made a late change to its side ahead of their Easter Monday clash with Geelong at the MCG.

Hawks forward Tyrone Vickery has been withdrawn from the side with back tightness, and has been replaced by 22-year-old forward James Sicily.

Hawthorn GM of Football Operations Jason Burt said Vickery just couldn't recover in time for the match, but is excited for Sicily to step into the side after strong recent performances for Box Hill.

“Ty’s had a bit of tight back over the past week,” said Burt.

“While we were confident he would be right for the game, unfortunately he’s just not 100 per cent so we’ve decided to take a cautious approach.

“Sis has put together some strong performances for Box Hill over the last few weeks, so we’re confident he can come in and play his role.”

Geelong will go into the match unchanged.
