Gold Coast have told five of their players they will not be offered contracts for 2018 and beyond as they have lodged their first list change of the off-season.

Senior listed Suns Jarrad Grant and Mitch Hallahan have both been delisted, while Keegan Brooksby, Ryan Davis and Cameron Loersch have also been told their future isn't at the Suns.

Grant played 14 games for the Suns since moving to the Gold Coast from the Bulldogs at the end of the 2015 season, and has played 95 games over a nine-year career.

Hallahan played 20 games for the Suns over the past three seasons including three in 2017, while Brooksby (14 career games), Davis (21 for GC, 35 overall) and Loersch (0) were the three rookies delisted.

Gold Coast's General Manager of Football Operations Marcus Ashcroft wished all five players well for their futures.

“On behalf of everyone involved with the Gold Coast SUNS, we want to commend the players for the contributions they have made to the club. We wish them every success and all the very best for the future," Ashcroft told goldcoastfc.com.au.
