One charge has been laid and two others have been assessed after the third round of JLT Community Series matches.

Port Adelaide's Paddy Ryder can accept a $1000 sanction for rough conduct on Richmond's Anthony Miles, and is the only player to have been charged from the weekend.

Geelong's Nakia Cockatoo has been cleared for contact on Dean Gore, after the Match Review Panel said the tackle was one action rather than two, which would have been seen as a sling tackle, meaning Cockatoo would have almost certainly been facing a suspension.

The Panel also stated that Cockatoo did not lift Gore who jumped into the air, and it wasn't unreasonable given the circumstances.

Sydney's Lance Franklin was also cleared for contact on GWS' Tim Taranto, after the Panel said contact was caused by Giants ruckman Shane Mumford, and the contact was out of Franklin's control.
