Western Bulldogs defender Dale Morris is set to spend up to eight weeks on the sidelines after injuring his leg in the Dogs' win over Collingwood on Friday night.
The incident occurred late in the Bulldogs' 14-point win against Collingwood, after Morris fell awkwardly on his leg.
Morris was on crutches in the Bulldogs' rooms following the match and again when we went in for scans on the injury, which came back showing a spiral fracture in his leg.
The 34-year-old had 16 disposals and took seven marks during the match, and the Bulldogs will now be without one of there veteran stars the grand final rematch against Sydney next Friday.
