The Pies have announced a host of re-signings, with Tom Langdon and Darcy Moore headlining seven players who have committed for 2019 and beyond.

Langdon (2021) and Josh Thomas (2021) have both signed three-year deals, while Moore (2020) and Flynn Appleby (2020) have committed for two.

Tim Broomhead, Jamie Elliott and Lynden Dunn have all put pen to paper for the 2019 campaign.

Appleby will remain on the rookie list next season, while Broomhead will be delisted but re-drafted as a rookie for the 2019 season.

“This is a squad that is still discovering how good it can be, a squad that is still to ripen,” Collingwood list manager Ned Guy told collingwoodfc.com.au.

“For a majority of the players on our list, the prime years of their careers are out there in front of them.

“A lot of work over a number of years went into piecing the squad together and if you combine the profile of the list, the improvement we witnessed this year and the improvement to come then keeping largely with what we have and adding to it through select trading and drafting is prudent.”
