West Coast midfielder Lewis Jetta can accept a one-match sanction for his tackle on Melbourne's Tim Smith during the Eagles' win over the Demons on Friday night.

Jetta has been handed the ban despite winning a free kick for the tackle, which came under rough conduct.

The incident was graded as careless conduct with medium impact and high contact, which equalled the one-match sanction.

Jetta's teammate Elliot Yeo can accept a $1000 fine for misconduct against Melbourne's James Harmes.
