The AFLW draft order for the 2019 national draft has been updated, after the initial expansion signing period.

Despite signing big names such as Katie Brennan and Sabrina Frederick Traub, the Tigers have still been handed the number one selection, due to just signing six players to date.

Collingwood has been handed pick two, while Brisbane will round out the top three.

Both the Tigers and Pies want to bring big names recruits to the club via trade, which is likely why they've been given such high picks.

Richmond is after Monique Conti from the Bulldogs, while Collingwood wants Blues captain Brianna Davey.

It looks as though the top two picks will change hands once those trades are finalised.
