Jarryd Roughead will once again captain Hawthorn in 2018, with the key forward leading a five-man leadership group.
The Hawks have opted for joint vice-captains, with Isaac Smith and Liam Shiels selected for the roles.
Ben Stratton and Jack Gunston will round out the leadership group, after players voted for the honour.
The group has lost Luke Hodge and Josh Gibson, after Hodge departed for Brisbane, and Gibson retired at the end of the 2017 season.
All five members of the leadership group were in the group last year.
Roughead will captain the Hawks for the second straight season, and told the club's website he was excited to head out his club once again.
“2017 provided some really good learnings for me and I feel like I’ve continued to develop and grow into the role,” Roughead told hawthornfc.com.au.
“Captaining the Hawks is a real honour and to be backed in by your teammates for another year is extra special.
“There is a really good feeling amongst the group and we are looking forward to what’s to come in season 2018,” he said.
