Geelong coach Chris Scott has confirmed two very handy inclusion for tomorrow night's clash against the Western Bulldogs.

Lachie Henderson and Scott Selwood will make their returns to the senior side to take on the reigning premiers for the side's first game at Simonds Stadium for the season.

Henderson has missed the past two weeks after copping a knock in the warm-up against Suns, while Selwood will play his first game of the season after battling a toe injury.

"Lachie Henderson will definitely play," Scott said on Thursday morning.

"Scott Selwood will play. We're really excited to have him back."

Meanwhile ruckman, Rhys Stanley, is in doubt after suffering a knee injury last week against the Bombers.

Scott said while the Cats' recent form slump, which has seen them lose three consecutive games for the first time since 2006, is worrying, he is confident his side can turn it around.

"It's sticking your head in the sand to say it's only a temporary lapse of form and we can fix it in a week," he said.

"We're acutely aware of where we have some issues right at the moment. (But) we're confident we can play well and win every week."

More to come.
