Luke Hodge could be trouble from the MRP after bumping Port Adelaide's Chad Wingard into the behind post.

Wingard's head collided with the post and he was left feeling sore and sorry. However, it didn't worry the Power star, who put in a brilliant performance to collect 20 disposals and kick four goals for the game as Port upset the reigning premiers, 16.12 108 to 13.8 86

  1. Yes! Ofcourse Hodge deserves to lose a match for deliberately knocking Wingard’s head into the goal post. He took his frustrations out on one of the Power’s best players knowing Port can beat Hawks & felt it was inevitable! Why should a favourite players & Captain from a favourite “Victorian” team be protected? Let’s hope he doesn’t get off with a slap on the wrist!!!!

  2. i watched it over and over , paused it and then played it ,, sorry to say Hodges knew exactly what he was doing , he had all intentions to hip wingards body into the post , so its premeditated ,, ,, deserves not one week but more lucky for goal posts are padded , it would’ve been worse if no padding , yet it can still cause serious head injury ,, out in the ground or on the goal line makes no difference ,i,d say 2 to 3 weeks ,
