While AFL clubs have made changes to their playing lists, coaching groups have also made transformations as we head into the 2027 season.
Some, like North Melbourne and Essendon, have welcomed a new head coach, while others like Carlton have kept relatively quiet in the coaching space.

Outs: Brett Montgomery (Forwards Coach), Shane Mumford (Essendon - Ruck Coach/AFLW Role), Ben Hart (Collingwood - Assistant Coach)
Ben Hart went to Collingwood, Shane Mumford joined Essendon, and Brett Montgomery returned to South Australia.
The Giants were forced into coaching changes under Adam Kingsley, and brought in highly-talented Fremantle person Adam Read.
Ryan Burton continues his coaching journey at GWS while Robbie Chancellor has moved to the AFL coaching box after a stint in the VFL.
