Gun Magpies defender Jeremy Howe will miss the rest of his side’s clash with the Western Bulldogs at Marvel Stadium with a calf injury.

He came off hobbling in the second quarter and was ruled out for the remainder of the contest at half time.

The 28-year old will be a big loss for Collingwood’s defence, where he has become a key staple.

Howe finished the game with four disposals, two marks and two tackles.
