Former St Kilda player Harry Boyd has returned to his old SANFL club, Norwood Redlegs, for the 2026 and 2027 seasons.
Boyd was a star in the South Australian state league, resulting in the Saints picking him up via the SSP 12 months ago.
He debuted in Round 1 against Adelaide in front of friends and family, but spent the rest of the year in the VFL.
But now, the 2024 Magarey has returned home.
"I am really excited to be back at Norwood," Boyd said to Redlegs media.

"Norwood means a lot to me, and to be able to achieve what I have already at the club, especially the Premiership in 2022, it does mean a lot, but it's the people within the club that mean the most. Everyone, from the players and coaches to the admin staff. You form those bonds, which I've really missed over the past 12 months.
"Once the 2025 season was over, I had a think about what was next, but being at Adelaide Oval watching the SANFL Prelim, it really sparked my interest in returning to Norwood. I have the drive, and I realised that I was keen to get back to the SANFL and play for Norwood again.
"It was a great experience, it does have its challenges, but to live out this lifestyle and form some great connections within the AFL industry, it will stand me in good stead moving forward.
"I definitely kept an eye on the Norwood scores and watched games online. It was hard to get back to SA with our schedule, but to get back for the Prelim – as devastating as it was for everyone involved – it was good to feel that energy of the Norwood Football Club again."
Norwood coach Jade Sheedy was stoked to get the 27-year-old back into the Redlegs gear,
"As a club, we are very excited with the return of Harry," Sheedy said.
"We all know the high level that Harry consistently plays at, but our club is also looking forward to welcoming back a great teammate that sets high standards and has a great love for the club."
Norwood finished the 2025 season in fifth, and won their first two finals, only to bow out in the penultimate week to Glenelg.
