North Melbourne's top pick in the 2025 draft, Finn O'Sullivan, will make his debut in Round One against the Western Bulldogs.

The Oakleigh Chargers product is a versatile midfielder and North fans will be hoping he can play a key role in lifting the club after several tough seasons.

During Tuesday morning's training session, head coach Alastair Clarkson informed O'Sullivan and the playing group that the young gun would make his debut in North's season opener at Marvel Stadium on Saturday night.

O'Sullivan was the second overall pick in last year's draft and displayed plenty of class and composure as a junior. He earned a spot in the 2023 Coates Talent League Team of the Year and was on track to do so again in 2024 before injuries disrupted his season.

O'Sullivan is also the cousin of Carlton star Sam Walsh. Withย Walsh's success at the top level, North Melbourne fans are hopeful that O'Sullivan can follow a similar path at the Kangaroos.

North Melbourne's last clash with the Bulldogs ended in a 96-point loss, making O'Sullivan's inclusion a welcome boost.
