The Hawks will induct four past players into the Hall of Fame later this year at the club's mid-season ball in June.

Brian Kann, John Kennedy Jnr, John O’Mahony and Miles Alfred-Sellers will all be officially inducted into the Hawthorn Football Club Hall of Fame on June 23 at Plaza Ballroom.

Meanwhile, Peter Knights, already a hall of famer, will be upgraded to legend status.

Sellers was a member of the Hawks' inaugural VFL season in 1925 and played 98 games for the club.

Kann played 57 senior games with Hawthorn from 1954 to 1959 and is the only player to have started with the Under-15 side before playing for the Under-17s, Under-19s, Hawthorn City Colts side, VFL Reserves and then the senior VFL side.

Kennedy Jnr is a four-time premiership player (1983, 86, 88, 89) and played 241 games with the Hawks.

O'Mahony played 12 games from 1951 to 1960 and also had several off-field roles with the club, including being a member of the Committee, the Chairman of Selectors and the Reserves Coach.

Knights played in three premierships with Hawthorn (1976, 78, 83), was the club's leading goal kicker in 1972 and won two club best and fairest awards. He is also a member of the Hawthorn Team of the Century and the AFL Hall of Fame.
