Sam Frost has been handed a one-week suspension for an incident with Gold Coast's Brandon Ellis on Saturday.

Frost was charged with Forceful Front-On-Contact for the fourth quarter incident, graded as Careless Conduct, Medium Impact, High Contact. The 28-year-old defender was handed the one-match sanction as a first offence.

Two fines were also handed out in the aftermath of Saturday's action, with Isaac Smith and Jarman Impey also charged by the MRO.

Smith was charged with striking Adelaide's Lachlan Murphy during the second term of their clash, with the incident graded as Careless Conduct, Low Impact, High Contact.

The 33-year-old can accept a $2000 fine with an early plea.

Impey was charged with Other Misconduct against Ben Ainsworth for an incident in the third quarter, in which Impey appeared to drop his knees into his Gold Coast opponent.

The 26-year-old can accept a $1000 sanction with an early plea.
