Deal: Sam Lloyd to the Western Bulldogs in exchange for selection 64 in the 2018 AFL Draft

The Tigers dealt away another of their fringe players, this time midfielder/forward Sam Lloyd. Lloyd was a staple of the Tigers’ team throughout 2016, playing 22 games, however could only manage 15 across 2017 and 2018, spending his time in the VFL.

Lloyd played in the Tigers’ VFL Grand Final in 2017, where he was named the best player on the field, taking home the Norm Goss Memorial Medal.

In his seven games at AFL level this season, Lloyd averaged 17 disposals and three inside-50s per game.

Grade: B

The Bulldogs add some experience to their team with a versatile player in Lloyd, while the Tigers continue to move on from their fringe players.
