Deal: Dom Tyson to North Melbourne in exchange for Braydon Preuss and a pick 62.

The Kangaroos have got themselves a player from the Demons in this deal, as the 25-year-old seeks to play elsewhere after playing 17 games in 2018.

Tyson played a total of 17 games and averaged 20 touches three tackles a game. Tyson mainly played because of injuries that hurt the Demons' midfield this year. Tyson played two seasons at the Giants before moving to Melbourne in 2014.

For North Melbourne, Tyson adds depth to their midfield. With Jared Polec recently signing with the club, there are exciting times ahead for Kangaroo supporters.

Preuss has struggled to get game time after being the second option ruckman in 2018. Preuss has only managed to play two games in two years at the club where he averaged 23 hit outs a game.

For Melbourne, Preuss adds depth to their ruck position as Max Gawn plays lone ruckman. Preuss will be able to learn off the All-Australian ruckman and try to improve his game.

Grade: C

A deal that improves both teams depth, as both teams come out happy with the outcome.
