GWS captain Toby Greene will be watched closely throughout the week after he was subbed out of the Port Adelaide loss with an injured hip.
Greene copped a cork from Power defender Aliir Aliir in the first term, with the Giants skipper in visible distress following the contest.
He managed to soldier on for "another 20 minutes" before coach Adam Kingsley made the call to bring on sub Brent Daniels.

"Toby just got that cork on the side of his hip," Kingsley said.
"He just couldn't run. He gutsed it out for another 20 minutes. We pushed him deep, but the reality was we needed to get Brent Daniels into the game and take Toby out.
"So unfortunate, but that's sometimes how it happens."
Kingsley was unsure of the severity of Greene's injury, and any related timeline if he was to miss the crucial Brisbane clash next week.
"I have no idea," he said.
"He'll get it treated and see how he trains throughout the week."
Following the loss to Port Adelaide, the Giants slipped to seventh on the ladder, adding to the significance of the upcoming month of football.
Kingsley lamented his side's inability to create offence, scoring a measly one goal after half time, which amounted to 50 points for the entire match.
"We've got a bit of work to do with our offence," Kingsley said.
"We've been a little bit inconsistent in that space.
"Some really good games, but some games like tonight where we were a bit slow and error-filled."
The history books also indicated that GWS' scoreless third term was the first occasion since Round 15, 2022.
"We just need to keep improving our game, plain and simple. Tonight our attack didn't work ... offensively, we've got to tidy it up," Kingsley added.
"Our attack tonight, it was everything (that needs improving). Back half, front half, entry, back half turnovers, giveaway โ you name it, we've got to work on it."
The Giants will look forward to a pair of clashes against the Queensland clubs before their mid-season bye in Round 16.
