The Gold Suns are reportedly in discussions with Port Adelaide's Aaron Young about a possible move to the sunshine state, according to Fairfax.
Young is out-of-contract and yet to be offered a new deal by the Power, with the fringe forward managing just 13 games this season.
The 25-year-old appears surplus to requirements at Alberton, particularly given the fact the Power are pushing hard to sign Brisbane onballer Tom Rockliff and Geelong livewire, Steven Motlop.
Young had his best return last year, when he played 21 games, however, other than that, he has not played more than 14 games in a season.
He averaged 12 disposals, 3.2 marks, 2.7 tackles and kicked 11 goals in his 13 matches in 2017.
Young has played a total of 76 games since being drafted with pick No.36 in the 2010 National Draft.
