TAC is set to review its sponsorship with Geelong after captain Joel Selwood lost his licence over the weekend.

Selwood was caught driving 127 km/h in a 100 km/h zone on Friday night was subsequently fined $228, stripped of four demerit points and has lost his licence for one month.

AFL.com.au reports the TAC has will meet with Geelong to review its sponsorship of the club in light of the incident.

"We have been fully briefed by the Geelong Football Club," TAC spokesperson Hamish Heard told AFL.com.au.

"We will meet with the club in the near future to address the issue.

"The club has advised they are determining appropriate action to address the disappointing actions of Joel Selwood.

"We work closely with the Cats to ensure that all of the players and officials understand the important role they play as role models in helping us get Towards Zero."
