Australia's footy shows have become another hot topic throughout the week, especially in regards to channel 7's Front Bar and channel 9's The Footy Show.

According to SEN, the Front Bar has tallied again stellar numbers with 250,000 viewers from the metropolitan area within Melbourne. Although slightly lower than previous weeks (263,000), the show has experienced much success with hosts Sam Pang, Mick Molloy and Andy Maher.

The show has distinguished itself as the front-runner footy show (AFL) in the country.

In comparison, the channel 9 The Footy Show that has aired every Wednesday thus far this season, has experienced another slump in their viewings, writes SEN.

Going from 85,000 the previous week to 63,000, it is no secret that the show is struggling.

The former must-watch footy show, consisting of Dylan Alcott, Neroli Meadows and Anthony "Lehmo" Lehmann, are in dire straights and its existence in our TV Guide is starting to be questioned.
