Fremantle vice-captain Caleb Serong says the club is "analysing everything" to eradicate the poor form away from home after yet another disappointing outing.

The Dockers' most recent defeat outside of Perth came against a young St Kilda side by 61 points at Marvel Stadium, with the visitors struggling to even throw a punch on the night.

Round 8's result was the fourth loss of 2025, but the club's third on the road, going down to Geelong (Round 1) by 78 points at GMHBA Stadium and at the time, the winless Melbourne outfit (Round 6) by less than two goals.

In those defeats, they lost inside 50s and contested possessions comprehensively.

"We need to fix it," Serong said.

"The reality is, we haven't changed anything with our travel schedule, routine, and over the last couple of years, our travel results have been alright. We've travelled pretty well.

"This year, definitely not. We need to figure out what is going on, whether that's individuals working on their prep, whether that's team and little things that we can do, whether that's during the week in the lead-up to the travel.

"I'm not sure what it is, but the reality is, we haven't changed anything, and it has worked in the past.

"We're analysing everything from a player-leadership point of view, from a playing group point of view, from a holistic leadership point of view to understand it, because we need to be better on the road.

"It's not just losing games, it's the way we're performing."

In 2024, the Dockers went five wins and six losses from their travelling game, with the losing margins at 17.2 points.

This year, it sits just under 50 points.

The next month includes away matches against top-eight teams Greater Western Sydney and Gold Coast.
