Delisted Collingwood midfielder Brayden Sier has put pen to paper on a deal with Heidelberg Football Club for the 2022 season.

The big-bodied midfielder was let go by the Pies after he managed 27 games in the black and white.

He was a semi-regular figure in the clubs charge to the 2018 Grand Final before falling out of favour.

Sier was widely tipped to find a new home at the end of the 2021 season, however, after being delisted he was not picked up by another AFL club.

He is set to link up with former Essendon ruckman Tom Bellchambers who has committed to the club in a full-time capacity for the upcoming season.

Bellchambers landed at Heidelberg last year but was also working at the Bombers as ruck coach but will commit his weekends now to the Tigers.

Heidelberg plays in Melbourne's Northern Football League.
