Former AFL greats Garry Lyon, Tim Watson and Bob Murphy have ranked the young stars of the game on, as reported on SEN.

The list of players they ranked included emerging talents Marcus Bontempelli, Josh Kelly, Clayton Oliver, Jordan De Goey, Patrick Cripps and Isaac Heeney.

It comes in the wake of the 22under22 40-man squad being announced by the AFL Players’ Association on Tuesday night, where Bontemeplli looks set to make the 22 for a fifth-straight year.
