Taylor is 27 years old and one of the best and toughest key defenders in the game. He has battled injury troubles at times, but his impact in a side such as Fremantle could be profound.
The Dockers have the statistically best defence in the league in 2026, but at times the impact of defenders Luke Ryan and Brennan Cox can dip and skipper Alex Pearce is 31 years old and highly injury-prone.
It would be very difficult to pry Taylor from GWS' grasp as he is contracted until the end of 2032.
But Taylor is from Perth and pending on how the Giants look to respond to a disappointing 2026 season, the two-time All-Australian could look to move somewhere else in hopes of a flag.
