Richmond star Jack Riewoldt is free to play in round one after being cleared for his contact on Magpie Jackson Ramsay, with his match day report thrown out.

The MRP said Riewoldt slowed down before making contact with Ramsay, with the contact ultimately, not unreasonable in the circumstances.

Jy Simpkin can accept a $1,000 fine for striking Adam Tomlinson.

Toby Greene can accept a $1,000 sanction for misconduct against Sam Wright, while GWS teammate Jeremy Cameron has also been fined $1,000 for striking Scott Thompson.

Port Adelaide's Hamish Hartlett can also accept a $1,000 fine for striking Jarryd Roughead.

Geelong Mitch Duncan was also slapped with a $1,000 fine for rough conduct on Essendon forward Joe Daniher.

Meanwhile, gold Coast co-captain, Steven May, was also cleared of his contact on Tom Boyd, as was Kangaroo, Shaun Higgins, for his bump on Giant, Steve Johnson.
