7 News' Ryan Daniels reports that the Round 14 clash between Richmond and the West Coast Eagles is set to be brought forward to Round 13 and played at Optus Stadium.

The game was originally scheduled for a Thursday night, with the revised fixture being played on a Sunday next week, with both clubs having their Round 13 bye moved to Round 14 as a result.

Richmond players are reportedly keen to get home between games but are awaiting confirmation on whether they'd be allowed to return for the fixture. Richmond would allow players to return home with no hard feelings if they need to.

Full-forward Jack Riewoldt is one player who recently said if hubs became a part of the 2021 season he would likely opt out and return home.

The Tigers have been away from home for the past week, playing against Adelaide in New South Wales last week and Essendon in Perth this weekend.
