Collingwood forward Alex Fasolo has told the club he wants to return to AFL action for Monday's Queen's Birthday clash with the Demons.

Fasolo missed Collingwood's win over Fremantle in Perth due to his battle with depression, but believes he will be right in time for Monday's game.

The 24-year-old will continue to train with the club throughout the week, as Collingwood will speak with his mental health specialists before allowing him to play.

Fasolo would be a welcome addition to the Pies' line-up for Monday's match, after their win over Fremantle came at a cost.

Daniel Wells (calf), Jamie Elliott (ankle) and Tyson Goldsack (shoulder) all look set to miss a number of weeks, while Levi Greenwood could also miss with a corked leg.

Father-son draftee Callum Brown is a chance to make his senior debut for the club, while James Aish will also be fit again for selection after suffering a cheekbone injury against Hawthorn.
