Ex-Geelong player George Horlin-Smith has represented the Australian Cricket Legends at the Road Safety World Series 2022.

Horlin-Smith pulled on the green and gold for Australia alongside the likes of Aussie Cricket legends Brett Lee, Brad Haddin, Shane Watson and more.

The match took place in Indore, India against Bangladesh Legends where Australia ran out winners by three wickets.

Horlin-Smith bowled two overs and took 1/15, taking the wicket of current Bangladeshi batsmen Nazmus Sadat.

The 29-year-old also went out to bat but made just the seven runs from 11 deliveries before being bowled by Abul Hasan.

Horlin-Smith does have impressive cricketing background, where he was captain of the Australian under-16 team against the West Indies in 2008.

The former footballer played a majority of his career at Geelong as a midfield-forward hybrid until he was traded to Gold Coast in 2019.

After managing just seven games for the Suns in 2019, Horlin-Smith retired at the end of the season.
