The Bombers have reportedly agreed to an interim payment deal for banned players now at rival clubs.

The 12 suspended players still on Essendon's list have been paid a percentage of their wages since their bans were announced, and the Herald Sun has reported that the same is expected to take place with the five players at other clubs.

The players affected are Paddy Ryder, Angus Monfries (Port Adelaide), Jake Carlisle (St Kilda), Jake Melksham (Melbourne) and Stewart Crameri (Western Bulldogs).

Payment details for players no longer on an AFL list are still continuing, with several players losing income via match payments in local football leagues.
