Willie Rioli is no closer to finding out his footballing future, a month after he faced the AFL anti-doping tribunal.

Rioli has been suspended since September 2019 for tampering with a urine sample during a drug test and had his initial hearing in December 2020.

However, West Coast GM of Football Craig Vozzo, says the club is still waiting on a decision from the AFL on the 25-year-old goalsneak.

โ€œHopefully itโ€™s not too far away, and then we can move forward and most importantly, Willie has some certainty as to his future.โ€

Rioli played 38 games and kicked 46 goals across two seasons for the Eagles.

He was an integral part of the 2018 premiership team that beat Collingwood by five points in the Grand Final.
