Dustin Martin has added another quill to his bow of finals achievements, taking out the Gary Ayres Coaches Award for the second time in three years.

Martin ended with 19 points after taking 10 points (five from each coach) in Saturday’s grand final.

In 2017, Martin also won the overall award, (which tallies up votes from every game of the finals) but only received eight in the final, where Bachar Houli scored the perfect 10.

This year, Houli finished third, behind Martin and Greater Western Sydney’s Tim Taranto.

The highest vote-getter to not play on Saturday was the Geelong captain Joel Selwood who scored 11 points.
