Sydney have completed a trade with Geelong, bringing in defender Jackson Thurlow.

The Swans gave up pick 70 for the 24-year-old, who has played 46 games for the Cats over his five seasons at the club.

Thurlow has averaged 15 disposals, 4.0 marks and 2.2 rebound 50s over his career to date.

“Jackson has been a popular member of the club over his six years here. His overall positive nature and commitment to his football is a credit to him,” Geelong’s General Manager of Football Simon Lloyd told the club's website.

“We thank Jackson for his service to the club and wish him well as he continues his football career at the Sydney Swans.”
