North Melbourne has secured the services of Melbourne small forward Charlie Spargo via free agency.
The move has seen the Demons pocket compensation at the end of the second round of next month's draft, with the selection coming in at Pick 41 currently.
For the Roos, they secure premiership experience, with Spargo featuring in Melbourne's drought-breaking 2021 flag win in his 108 games with the club.
Spargo has kicked 64 goals at AFL level, playing in a high forward role as a conduit player.
"Charlie's got a great blend of experience and a strong work ethic, and we're rapt with what he brings to our list," Roos list manager Brady Rawlings said.

"He's a proven performer, particularly with his ability to set up teammates going inside 50. He's got great footy smarts and is creative in the forward half.
"He's a high-quality young man who will be a great cultural fit and an excellent support for our developing small forwards. We're excited for him to get started with the group."
Melbourne's draft hand now has them holding 27, 41, 60 and 65 for the 2025 AFL Draft, which will take place on November 19-20.
