Melbourne coach Simon Goodwin has confirmed that star duo Max Gawn and Jack Viney will not feature in the clubs clash against North Melbourne on Sunday.
Gawn has been ruled out with a back/shoulder complaint and has been noted to be battling injury for the last week.
Viney was subject to a concussion agains Adelaide and has been withdrawn from this weekend's clash.
