Essendon has delisted midfielder Elijah Tsatas after a maligned four seasons at The Hanger.
Once a celebrated Pick 5 in the draft, Tsatas never made his mark on the club. However, the development of players at Essendon has been left wanting for a long time now.
It is only four years on from him being in the top five best junior footballers in the country, so which club would be the best landing spot for him to utilise his speed, clean disposal use and ball-winning ability, while also helping him grow his impact and defensive efforts?
The 21-year-old midfielder dominates the game at VFL level, so could an AFL club with a strong ability to develop its players get the best out of Tsatas?

Adelaide
The Crows are on the edge of being a contender after two straight Semi-Finals exits.
Matthew Nicks has talent across the ground, but his midfield, surprisingly with the likes of Jordan Dawson, Izak Rankine and potentially Dan Curtin next season, appears to be a bit one-paced.
Nicks needs a quick runner to partner Rankine and Dawson to create a more dynamic Adelaide engine room.
Tsatas by no means has shot the lights out at AFL level, obviously, but in a high-quality and new environment such as Adelaide, could he find his best football and save his career?
The Crows missed out on Zac Bailey and will likely now keep that money in reserve for a major pitch to South Australian-born St Kilda star Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera. But Tsatas, who would cost nothing from a salary cap or draft point of view, could help their midfield in the meantime.
Would be good at Richmond need another accumulator and distributor of the ball.
