Essendon has met with two delisted free agents about a potential move to the club.

Former Swan Xavier Richards and ex-Lion Josh Green have spoken to the club and met team officials, coach John Worsfold confirmed on Tuesday morning.

“I’ve spoken with both of those guys,” Worsfold told SEN Radio.

“They’ve been out to the footy club and we’ve had a chat to them and shown them around the facilities.

“There are a couple of others that we’ve spoken to as well. We’re doing our usual work to make sure we’re all over all possibilities and all players that are available.

“We’re meeting this morning, as a list management (team), to finalise those decisions.”

Richards played 12 games in four seasons with the Swans, while Green played 81 games in six seasons at the Lions.
