Delisted West Coast forward will continue his football career in Western Australia after signing with WAFL club Subiaco Lions for "the next couple of years".
Petrucelle was recently delisted by the Eagles after eight seasons and 90 games, with the club heading in a new direction under Andrew McQualter.
The 26-year-old was drafted from the Northern Knights and the Epping Football Club in Melbourne, taken with Pick 38 in the 2017 intake.
He was a consistent feature in the forward line throughout 2019, playing 20 games under Adam Simpson, kicking 21 goals. He also featured prominently in 2021, 2023 and 2024, but fell out of favour under McQualter.
Petrucelle will reunite with assistant coach and former interim mentor Jarrad Schofield, who departed the club to take on the senior coaching role at the Lions.
He briefly receievd interest from Carlton as a delisted free agent, but they ultimately went another way, welcoming Ben Ainsworth from Gold Coast.
"Stoked to be a part of the Subiaco Lions for the next couple of years," Petrucelle said.
"I was really attracted to the club when I first moved over from Melbourne, and Subiaco used to beat us (West Coast) by quite a bit, so I always knew they were a powerhouse in the early days.
"Having a good relationship with Jarrad Schofield (former Eagles assistant) at the Eagles was really handy in getting me on board.

"Stoked to be a part of it and looking forward to meeting everyone."
Subiaco finished ninth in 2025, winning four games out of 18.
