Delisted Collingwood defender Wil Parker is set to become the seventh Pie to make the arch-rival switch to Carlton.

Parker was farewelled by the Pies at the end of the 2026 season after 14 games in three seasons following his Category B Rookie listing.

The cricket convert is set to continue his AFL career at the Blues, with Channel Seven reporting he'll sign at Ikon Park as a delisted free agent on a two-year deal from November 2.

Parker will slot into Carlton's defence as they look to bolster their rebounding stocks.

But he'll join a unique group of players making the switch from Collingwood to Carlton.

Recent examples are Alex Fasolo and Dale Thomas, with the latter following Michael Malthouse from Olympic Park to Princes Park.

Father-son Cameron Cloke began at the Pies before making the move to the Blues in search of more AFL opportunities.

Heath Scotland, after losing Grand Finals in the black and white, sought a move to the navy blues.

Parker will be the most recent, and he'll be coached by Josh Fraser, who won the coaching role after a stellar interim tenure.

Fraser played for Collingwood for 11 seasons, and is now the Blues head coach.
