Dees defender considering switch north

Melbourne defender Lynden Dunn could be headed to Brisbane to help shore up the Lions’ key defensive stocks.

The Demons’ veteran will meet Lions’ officials about a possible move north after the VFL grand final on Sunday.

Brisbane list chief Peter Schwab has told the Herald Sun Dunn, 29, was one of several backmen the club was looking at.

Dunn was second best for Casey Scorpions in their preliminary final win over Williamstown on Sunday, but has played only four senior games for Melbourne this season.

The 192cm defender was taken with pick No.15 in the 2004 national draft has played 165 senior games over 12 AFL seasons.
